Life

Life, I wondered who you were

Were you a moment that passed without

Knowledge, ours or a part of it, so

Mysterious and enchanting, like

Verses of a grieved one, or the one on his lover’s door, then

Moves into soundless slumber, tarries

Upon his work undone, yet

Wonder I for what you are.

Life, were you the one

The one who took me into the past, flew

Us into the cradle, of

The present or is it, a gift of the future, behold

Look at it the light, from

That sky which clouds fly, into

an endless fountain of wind, blowing

onto faces unseen before, i

see them now so clear, still

wonder I,  were you it?

Life, now I hear what say you

You are that passing moment, which

Shows all aspects, of

Sorrow, love, hate, pride, happiness, and

So much more, that

It has become hard, to

Let you go so easily, yet

One day we must part, for

Our time has passed, to

Make you ours, which

You never were, but

Lived we did for you are Life.
